지난 4월 12일에 열린 베네핏 콘서트에는 모두 500여분의 관객이 찾아주셔서 공연을 즐기며, 이노비의 미션과 활동을 후원해주시는 자리를 가졌습니다. 행사가 잘 끝나도록 도와주신 많은 분들께 진심으로 감사의 뜻을 전합니다.

EnoB Benefit Concert

1부는 앙상블 디토의 첼리스트 Michael Nicolas와 Lee Sangmin Group의 Classical & Jazz Concert로 꾸며졌고, 2부는 서혜선 음악감독의 즐거운 뮤지컬 갈라 콘서트로 이루어졌습니다.

The first segment was the Classical & Jazz Concert performed by cellist Michael Nicolas from Ensemble Ditto, as well as performances by the Lee Sangmin Group. The second segment was the Musical Gala Concert, directed by Music Director, Haesun Suh.

Special Exhibition

이 날 리셉션 홀에는 특별한 전시회가 있었습니다. 쿠하우스 겔러리, 신저, LITTLE POPORA, 가마(GAMA)와 뉴욕 4대 미술 학교인 FIT, PARSONS, SVA, PRATT의 미술학교 한인 학생회에서 전시준비와 이노비를 위한 미술품들을 제작해, 각자의 작품을 전시하고 판매, 수익금을 이노비에 전달했습니다.

A Special Benefit Art Exhibition was displayed in the Reception Hall before the Concert. Galleries, including COOHAUS ART Gallery, SHINJEO, LITTLE POPORA and GAMA, participated with beautiful pieces from selected artists.  There were also works of art from members of the  Korean Student Associations at the leading Art Universities in the New York area: SVA, FIT, PARSONS and PRATT. The student members also helped greatly with the organization and preparation for the Art Exhibit. All the proceeds from art sales were donated to EnoB.

2014 Benefit Concert Committee Chair 조은정님을 소개합니다.

이번 베네핏 콘서트에서 Benefit Concert Committee Chair로서 힘써주신 조은정님은 미주한인 요리사 협회(Korean Chefs Association of America)의 사무총장을 맡고 계십니다. KCAA는 미국과 유럽 등에서 한식에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 전 세계인에게는 한식문화를, 그리고 미국 내 요리학교와 요식업 관계자들에게는 한식 조리법, 식자재를 알리면서 한인 요리사들의 네트워크를 강화하기 위한 목적으로 시작했다고 합니다. KCAA에서는 조은정님과 함께 고봉정, 양세철, 김민철, 이웅기 셰프가 함께 자리해 VIP Reception의 음식을 담당해 주셨습니다.

EnoB Benefit Concert Committee

Joy Cho is the Benefit Concert Committee Chair, who bore the heavy responsibility of organizing the very successful EnoB Benefit Concert. She is the Executive Director of the Korean Chefs Association of America (KCAA).  The KCAA was founded to organize and disseminate information about Korean food, as well as being the premier US professional organization for chefs and others involved in the creation of Korean food. For this Benefit Concert, additional members of the KCAA, including BongJeong Go, Sechul Yang, Minchul Kim, and Woongki Lee donated their services.

어린이 입원환자와 그 가족을 위한 공연

4월 17일 콜럼비아대학 어린이 병원의 아이들을 찾아가 콘서트를 개최하여 병원에서 병마와 싸우며 외롭게 지내는 아이들의 마음을 달래주었습니다.

On April 17th, EnoB held a Outreach Concert for hospitalized children and their family at the Columbia University Children’s Hospital in NY. Musicians performed mucical and  the concerts were enjoyed by all.

특수교육이 필요한 아동과 그 가족을 위한 공연

4월 26일에는 코코장애인센터를 찾아가 특수교육이 필요한 아동 및 청소년들에게 신나는 음악을 선사하고 함께 춤추며 즐거운 시간을 보내고 왔습니다.

미술학교 학생회 수익금 전달

지난 4월 23일 뉴욕 4대 미술학교 SVA, PRATT, PARSONS, FIT의 학생회에서 이노비 오피스를 방문해 이노비 베네핏 콘서트에 작품을 전시하고 판매한 수익금을 우리 주위 소외된 이웃들을 위해 사용해달라며 전달해 주었습니다.

이노비 서울은 4월 2일과 16일에 각각 삼성서울 암병원과 성모병원에서 암투병으로 고통 중에 있는 환자와 호스피스에서 생의 마지막 순간을 보내고 계신 환자들을 위해 공연을 가졌습니다.

Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI)

The Director General of KHIDI (US), Mr. Jung-hoon Woo, attended the EnoB Benefit Concert. He was kind enough to write a very positive mention of EnoB in the KOCHAM column of the US edition of Joongang Ilbo, the Korean daily newspaper.  (KOCHAM, the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in America, was founded in 1992, and has a membership which includes the US subsidiaries of the biggest Korean corporations.)
 
We would like to take this opportunity to specially thank Director General Jung-hoon Woo  for attending the EnoB Benefit Concert and lending his support to the work and vision of EnoB.  We will continue to do our best to spread happiness.
