Tae Wook Kang, MPA, President & Founder

The co-founder and president of EnoB. Mr. Kang has worked at the YWCA of Queens for four years until March of 2011. During those four years, he was the first male Assistant Executive Director in YWCAs history and also served the role as an interim Executive Director. Prior to the YWCA, Mr. Kang served as an Executive Director of the New York Sinfonietta for 3 years. With his experience and background, he has been able to help and give advice to many Social Services and Art related non-profit organizations, such as: the Center for Opportunities Choices & Outcomes and Milal Mission in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Kang received his Master of Public Policy and Administration Program (MPA) from Columbia University and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, with a minor in Mathematics from New York University.
Jong Hyun Kim, M.D., Ph.D., Co-Founder

We are proud to introduce Dr. Jong Hyun Kim, our very own co-founder and chair of the board. Dr. Kim received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Ph.D. from the Catholic University of Korea. Following his education in Korea, Dr. Kim enrolled in the Research Fellowship Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Formerly an assistant professor at the Catholic University of Korea Medical College, Dr. Kim is currently attending to his resident physician practice at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Some of his most recent published works include selections from the following: Textbook of Rehabilitation Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Textbook of Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Kim has also held numerous lectures and symposiums in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Korea about his research.
So Young Lee, Ph.D., Secretary
Professor, Family and Child Studies Department, Montclair State University
Dr. So Young Lee became a board member in November, 2011. She is currently an assistant professor of the Family and Child Studies Department at Montclair State University. She received her Ph.D. in Human Development in 2005 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She has worked as a post-doctoral research associate at Virginia Tech and as an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico prior to joining the faculty at Montclair State. Her research interests include immigrant families, family diversity, family life education, community impacts on families, and the development of young adults. She was recently appointed as a service learning fellow at the Research Academy for University Learning at Montclair State. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Seoul National University and she has been a Certified Family Life Educator since 2005.
Yvette Y. Lee, MA
Executive Director,Skystone Foundation
Yvette Y. Lee is Executive Director of Skystone Foundation, the nonprofit organization responsible for supporting and administering James Turrells monumental artwork, Roden Crater. Art historian, curator and museum professional, Ms. Lee previously worked at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, where she served most recently as Senior Project Manager for the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative, a multi-year project that includes a team of more than forty staff members and activities in acquisitions, exhibitions and education across three regions of the world.

Ms. Lee managed activities in New York and with collaborating museums in Hong Kong, Singapore and Mexico City. Prior to joining the Guggenheim, Ms. Lee served as Curator of Exhibitions for the American Federation of Arts from 2004 through 2008, conceiving and organizing exhibitions that traveled to museums internationally. At the Whitney Museum of American Art from 1994 to 2002, she was Assistant Curator for Special Projects, undertaking exhibitions that included co-curating The Paintings of Joan Mitchell with Jane Livingston.

Ms. Lee has a M.A. with a focus on Twentieth-Century European and American Art from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, a B.A. in Art History and French Studies from Wellesley College, and attended Phillips Academy, Andover.
Joyce YongHee Shim, PhD
Assistant Professor at Dominican University Graduate School of Social Work
Dr. Joyce Shim is Assistant Professor at Dominican University Graduate School of Social Work. Previously, she was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University School of Social Work and worked for organizations including the UN, UNICEF, Human Rights Watch, and Maximus. She is a recipient of the New Jersey Senate Award and General Assembly Award for Distinguished Contribution to Immigrant Communities, as well as a fellow of the Council of Urban Professionals. Dr. Shim holds a BA in Political Science from Rutgers University and Dual Masters and PhD from Columbia University.
Kyung Eun Na, DMA, Associate Board
Assistant Professor of Music, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
Pianist Kyung-Eun Na has cultivated a multi-faceted music career not only as a performer, but also as an educator, opera coach, and radio program director. Currently she is serving as an Assistant Professor of Collaborative Artist at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Prior to her current position at UALR she has served as adjunct faculty at Montclair State University in New Jersey, Seoul Arts High School and Sungshin Womens University in Korea; worked as a Spectrum Resident Artist Coach and Education Tour Manager at Virginia Opera; and served as an assistant program director for The Classical Collection at TBS English FM in Korea.

Her collaborative performances include recital tours and opera gala concerts with instrumentalists and vocalists at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall, Town Hall and Merkin Hall in New York; Finney Chapel, Oberlin, OH; Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH; Harrison Opera Center and Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, VA; and Kansas City Convention Center, Kansas City. Internationally, she has performed at St. Agostino Chapel, Siena, Italy; the Korean Embassy, Brasilia and Amazon Theater Opera House, Manaus, Brazil; George Tong Galleries in Beijing, China; as well as at the Seoul Arts Center and Sejong Cultural Center, Seoul, among other venues in major Korean cities.

Dr. Na received her bachelors degree in Piano Performance from Yonsei University, an Artist Diploma from Oberlin Conservatory, and a masters degree in collaborative piano from the Juilliard School. Recently, she received her doctorate from Manhattan School of Music. Dr. Na is a Si-Yo Artist.
Jung Eun Kim, MM/EDM, Associate Board
A Singer, Actress and Teacher in NYC
Jung Eun Kim is a singer, actress and teacher in NYC . She graduated from Ewha Womans University with BM in Voice and completed her masters degrees at Mannes College of Music in Voice and Columbia Teachers College in Music Education. She made her Carnegie hall debut and won several vocal competitions including NATS and young Artist international competition as a classical singer. She finished her musical theater training at AMDA and made her debut at Mt. Gretna theater as 'Lady Thiang' in King and I . She also performed at Lyric Stage Theater as 'Tuptim' and joined Actors Equity after performing at Starlight Theater as Tuptim understudy in King and I with Lou Diamond Philips. She is so excited to join EnoB as an Associate Board member.

Jenny Lee is the Director of ESL for LISMA Language Center located in Manhattan, NY since 2008. She is a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators and holds a Certificate in TESL/TESOL. She oversees curriculum development and operations of the ESL program. She mainly designs, implements and monitors the development plan of the Manhattan Campus' comprehensive ESL program and creates strategic plan to further develop program offerings as well as managing professional, instructional and clerical staff.
